It may be the festive season, but we’re all still fighting the battle against Coronavirus.
Recently, a new variant of the virus has been found. Named Omicron, it is spreading at an alarming rate throughout not just our community, but the whole country. We’re now seeing the largest number of positive Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began, with the amount of positive tests expected to go up over the next few weeks.
We’ve reached a really important step in our plan to help tackle Coronavirus, and we’re calling on you all to play your part before the situation gets worse. The best way to protect yourself from the serious side effects of Coronavirus is to take up your Covid-19 booster.
Every adult in Manchester is being offered a Covid-19 booster jab as part of a plan to fight the rising number of cases and the spread of the new Omicron variant. If you are aged 18 or more and have had your second vaccine over 90 days ago, you can now book your booster jab.
